This grill sucks with poor quality regulator, burner, and ignition. Cheap and will not last outside.

Great little grill for a two people.

Had ours for 5 years I think. Lots of use. Very easy to clean up. I take the burner off once a year and clean it up really good. Everything still works great, including the igniter. Nothing has had to be replaced. Thing is a tank.
Grilling is excellent. Everything from dogs to whole chickens.

Love the grill but controlling the temp can be a little tricky. Fires up to 400 but getting it back down can take some time.

A: Probably, depending on what connector you have. I have a 1/4” quick disconnect propane fitting on my trailer, and I bought this adapter that screws into the bbq’s 1” female propane cylinder port. (Don’t be confused by the image of the adapter on a person’s hand – the scale is way off, as the adapter is actually only a few inches long) https://a.co/d/034d6uDs

Q: Can this be safely connected to a 5lb propane tank? The store rep said there may be safety issue if the 1lb bottles are not used

A: Yes it can be. The regulator is attached to the BBQ, so you can use a larger tank. I have mine connected to a 20lb tank at home, and then switch back to the 1lb bottles when I travel. You just need an accessory hose to connect the larger tanks to the grill
