Terrible Product

Bought one of these grills a couple years ago and it has been nothing but terrible. Lid handle broke almost immediately. Grill takes forever to heat up and can barely get past 350 even with all burners on. Now my grill trips my outdoor GFCI outlet every time I turn it on. Have cleaned it completely and checked all electrical possible and no luck. The "warranty" from the manufacturer is useless as these are no longer made by them so they will not replace my cooking assembly. Terrible product, and poor customer service. Will avoid Vermont Castings and Canadian Tire BBQ's in the future

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How long does it take to warm up (say, 400 degrees)?

  • A: I just bought one and used it for the first time found that the thermometer doesn’t go past 400 so I bought a thermometer to put inside the box. He’s just fine thermostats don’t work properly all the time. No biggie.

If using the unit in the rain, the unit would be affected negatively if the heating elements were to get wet, we would not recommend use in direct rain.
