The griddle itself is a good quality product. My concern is with the grease management. I cooked bacon and had 2 internal fires below the 2 corner holes. Once the griddle was cleaned and cooled down I removed the griddle and it did appear clean in the firebox. So I’m unsure? One other note, I have a Prestige Pro 500. The griddle fits well from to back but both sides are short by approximately 1.5”.

Fantastic griddle cooking on the Prestige 450!

Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. Cooking with it is a fantastic experience, and I don’t have to add flat top that would occupy more space on my deck.
