fire pit defective

purchased. open box up. crack in metal on mesh rim. called for living . 1-877-483-6759 10 times .could not get through to warranty dept. so corresponded via email sunjoy group. they said do not return to store. I sent them receipt.pictures of defective fire pit. they said I would get a refund as that part is not available. said was waiting on financial dept to approve. 1 week later.no word on refund. will not buy any more products from Canadian Tire from For Living.
