Suitable for 8 burgers at a time. Cleaned very easily with some elbow grease and some foodsafe grill cleaner. Found that on medium high the 1lb propane bottles were freezing up. I'll echo the recommendation of another review to get an adapter and a larger propane tank.

Canttire asks for reviews of things we buy. This item was purchased as a gift for someone who lives over 200 kilometres away. And it is an item they likely will not use until at least July. So there is no way I can evaluate the product. Why do they not have a place to tick that says: "GIVEN AS A GIFT" or something?

great little griddle

Great portable griddle for camping and backyard cooking. It heats up quickly, cooks evenly, and has plenty of space for breakfast, burgers, and veggies. The two burners make it easy to control different cooking temperatures. Easy to assemble and clean. Excellent value for the price! (i got it on sale) This will be coming with me on camping trips. For at home cooking I have the 36" Blackstone Griddle. I do not know for certain but I would guess that this griddle is also made by BlackStone for the MasterChef brand. I also purchased the adapter hose so I can use a regular 20 lb propane tank. Perfect griddle size for 2 people.

Adapters to Convert to 5lbs, 10lbs, 11lbs or 20lbs propane tank: Adapter Option #1: Canadian Tire SKU# 085-1097-2 (4 Foot Hose) Adapter Option #2: Canadian Tire SKU# 085-1084-2 (10 Foot Hose) In terms of how long propane would last. There is approximately 21,548 BTUs in 1 pound propane cylinders. The Master Chef Portable 22" Griddle burners produce approximately 24,000 BTUs per hour at the MAX setting. This means 1 pound of propane would last a little over an hour if you cooked on MAX the whole time. Hope this helps!

Please note: Do not leave water/sauce unattended, as it could boil over and run into the grease catch and overflow onto the burners. Please also check the details of the pot you are using, as the griddle top can reach temperatures of +650F when preheated on MAX. Confirm the maximum temperature capability of the pot you plan to use. Hope this helps!

Please note that you will need to check the specifications of the accessory, to make sure it can withstand temperatures up to 650F, as some griddle covers are meant to be used only for storage purposes. You have a 4' or 10' option 85-1097 (4’ Hose & Adaptor) or a 85-1084 (10’ Hose & Adaptor) available at Canadian Tire, or you can contact Master Chef customer support for assistance.
