The 5,678 L (1,500 gal.) Bestway Filter Pump is recommended for use with 1,100 to 31,700 L (300-8,400 gal.) pools and works perfectly with Type III-A/C filter cartridges. Put the fun in functional with the Bestway 5,678 L (1,500 gal.) Filter Pump - which is compatible with almost all above ground pools, no matter the brand.

Uses Type III-A/C filter cartridges (81-4174)
Compatible with 3.8 cm (1.5 in.) threaded valves and 3.2 cm (1.25 in.) valves with included adapters.
Pressure release valve removes trapped air.
Circulates water through the filter to capture debris.
Includes pump, cartridge, adapters and 25ft. (7.6m) power cord.

Firstly the website says this has a timer, which it does not. We were replacing our Intex pump that had quit working after several years. The Bestway was very cheaply made and you could feel the difference in quality. We tested it out once and the black o-ring stretched out after one use and the pump lacked the power for our 15’ft above ground, even though the box says it would handle a bigger pool. There was no point in keeping it as it just didnt do the job. Because we had used it once in the two or three days we had it, we were only able to get a store credit which is unfortunate as we are still out of a pump..

Stay away from this pump for the love of the most high !!!
Got the pool a year ago & the pump was okay but almost like it wasn’t strong enough for the size pool we have even though it….came with the pool? Didn’t think much of it until it went out. It was time to shut the pool down anyways so we didn’t replace it until about 2 months ago. The new one (we got the EXACT same pool pump might I add) didn’t even make it a month and a half….it turns on when it feels like it, suctions more air than water (we’ve made sure all the fitting are right, rings aren’t damaged, and water level is where it’s supposed to be), and just doesn’t work. It’s irritating to spend so much money on something for your kids for them to not even be able to use it cause it doesn’t work the way it should.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Don’t bother

Bought this pump last summer, the bottom cracked on the canister and of course the replacement is out of stock on the website and the part sku that says is interchangeable brings up an entire pool.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: I have a Bestway Hydrium 15' pool and it came with a Flowclear™ Pump filters 530 gallons per hour, wich both my husband and find that isn't enough to keep it clean. Fits all Hydro-Ft & holds just under 12,000 gallon of water. Would this work with my pool?

- A: I used it on my 12 foot pool. Died after a year but i kept it running full time. I recommend resd8ng instructions. I did after and found put you are only supposed to run it 2 or so hours a day. And change filters more often. If your serious about your pool, its worth the money to invest in a sand filter. They have good reviews and longevity from alot of other pool owners i know.3 years agoHelpful?

- A: That is pretty high tech and I'm not sure this pool is as high tech as system flow rate. I just take 1500 gph divide into size of my pool which is small 3000gal. This means I have to run my pump 2hrs to get 1 turn over. Theoretically that is all I need but run pump for 10hrs a day on a timer. These pumps are not very good quality and probably will last 1 season if on timer less if it is run 100% of the time. I am on my second pump, replaced under warrantee, and purchased a backup.
