    This pump was purchased to filter a small plunge tank that holds aprox 250-300 gallons of water. It works quite well at filtering fine debris like pollen from the water but it does take a solid 24hrs to really see a difference in water clarity. I would recommend buying the larger capacity pump for faster results. All in all, this pump works well for the price but I would recommend the larger capacity pump as it is only slightly more expensive and would do a much faster job.
