A: Thank you for the inquiry. This product can be used on most jacket materials and will offer additional water repellency. However, please check the manufacturer's instructions for the care and cleaning. Some materials and jackets may already be treated and this product might not be compatible.

Q: Can this be used on the Canadian Tires Outbound 9x9 sun shelter and if so, will it seal the seams or do I need to use a seam sealer as well.

A: Thank you for the inquiry. Please refer to the manufacturer's instructions on cleaning, care and protection with regards to the material. If there is already a protective coating on the fabric, then a protector can sometimes damage it. Otherwise, this product should offer water repellency to the material. You will need to re-apply based on use as this is not a permanent protective coating. For the seams, depending on how porous they are, you may need to apply a seam seal to close the larger gaps.
