While not weather proof, they do strike nicely, and burn as expected. You get a good amount of them in each box, quantity of 250 if I recall.

Very disappointed and returned them

We were very disappointed and returned them. The match sticks had shards of wood sticking out and could result in getting splinters in our fingers. We used to be able to buy RedBird 250pk matches which are great quality but the store manager said they no longer carry them.
