DW682K DEWALT Corded Heavy Duty Plate Join

As a Bisquit jointer it is excellent, how ever the dust bag is pretty much useless. On top of that is should have a universal connector to match other Dewalt tools. How I overcame this flaw was to cut the bag off, then use the sleeve to match the universal connector. Shame, the tool itself is excellent, with a major flaw.

I bought this Plate Joiner several years ago. I have used it many times and it has worked flawlessly. I especially like the examples of its use in the owners manual. The dust bag does jam every 3-5 plunges, but using a vacuum solves that issue and leaves the workplace free of debris. Overall I love this tool. I own nothing but DeWalt tools.

Very suitable Biscuit Joiner

So far this has done the job well. It feels compact and sturdy, cuts very well and has a smooth mechanism. My only gripe is the dust port, I would have rather the dust ports have a button to release the port instead of pulling on it so hard, which caused me to bang my elbow against sharp wood so that was the only issue I’ve had with it so far. It makes perfect sized biscuit holes and did the job well. It was easy to figure out how to replace the blade, it comes with a hex tool and instructions on how to replace it. Overall this will be a tool that will be used heavily, and cannot wait to break it in more.

Solid unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually have the older version DW682. Comes in solid box and protections and holds well. Have had some issues with fine adjustments but overall it works well. Center guide mark is accurate. Always do a test before actual.
