Have used this product in the past with good success. Did not stick well when applied under water as advertised .this application however looks much better so results should be successful.

It sticks real well. I'll see over the winter how well it stands up as it's sealing breaks in my hot tub cover on the top and bottom so it's exposed to hot water and humidity below and sub zero winter temps above. Was a challenge to separate the sticky tape side from the plastic seal but once done, it Sticks and I doubt I could remove it if I tried.

A: You can take off the white so it’s just clear, so you wouldn’t need to paint it. I’m sure it would work great on siding.
