Horrible stuff

This is the worst stuff I have ever used. It does not stick to itself. It lifted everywhere at the ends and of course the water leak through no matter how much I used. Someone suggested I use heat to fuse it and I tried that the second time and it didn’t work any better

I got this tape to repair a hole in my deck box lid caused by falling ice from the eaves. The product was easy to use and adhered really well. After two or three rain storms and some snow it is still sealing great and keeping the moisture out. Would recommend.

Q: I have a set of patio doors in my sunroom that was made level by using wood wedges to level the doors on a poured concrete pad. The door trim was siliconed That didn’t last more than a year. My question is would this product work to seal out water ?

Q: I have to patch a large hole in a pond liner. Can I use the tape to bond in the replacement rubber and the pond liner as a patch than use the liquid flex seal as a backup over the joints. Let it cure before filling as not to harm the fish.

  • A: Not sure but believe the flex tape is good under water. Check the flex tape site for verification. The flex seal liquid I would not use with fish.  I tried the spray to seal water sprout and did not work but the tape was excellent

Q: I need to replace the waterproof tape on the seams inside my waterproof mittens. Will this work if I cut it into narrow strips?

  • A: It worked well to seal the side seams of my paddle board. It was easy to use, stuck well and kept the board dry for the last two years. I doubt that it would be comfortable inside of mittens, but worth a try!

Q: I am looking to fix a leak on my RV's black water PVC pipe. If the pipe is cleaned and dried, can I apply this from the outside and expect it to seal and hold water in? If not, is there another product recommendation? FusionPro did not work.

  • A: Hi Not really. You can't stop a liquid leak from the outside in any event. I had a similar problem with a water leak. If it is a PVC pipe then maybe you can cut it at the leak and instal a coupler. My leak is on Polypropylene pipe - no glue available.

  • A: This is good tape.  It sticks really good and is strong and waterproof.  I used it on a pair of rubber boots that was leaking and it worked like a charm.
