Terrible pipe connector

The mount comes with a rubber washer that has a little grill in the center of it for the connection to your water pipe. The washer buckles when the connection is tightened, so you either end up with leaks because you haven't tightened it enough, or leaks because you tightened it to the point that the washer buckled. It's almost impossible to get it to that perfect sweet spot. It's a piece of junk. I ended up keeping my original mount and it's able to hold the shower head, so I'll live with it rather than going through the trouble of returning it, but I'll probably never buy Moen again after this.
