Q: What replacement trimmer cord do you use to replace the trimmer cord when it needs to? Everything I'm finding on this site is for other Greenworks trimmers. Nothing for the 60V trimmer

A: I had the same challenge. I found that the Kobalt #1171667 0.08 is actually the same spool. You can find it around. Just do an online search of that specifically.

Q: How easy is it to replace a worn out line with a new one?

A: Hello captaincanada, Yes, this spool can be rewound using trimmer line at .080 inches in diameter. There is a guide inside the owner's manual or you can purchase prewound spool item 2941802 and simply install it. All of the information required to rewind or respool the unit is inside the owner's manual.

GREENWORKS™, at its own discretion will repair or replace any and all parts found to be defective, through normal use, free of charge to the customer. This warranty is valid only for units which have been used for personal use that have not been hired or rented for industrial/ commercial use, and that have been maintained in accordance with the instructions in the owners’ manual supplied with the product from new. See manual available on our product page for additional details.
