Buyer Beware

Only used once. Absolutely do not recommend. Warning sign #1 Right out of the box, screw on bottom shield was already rusty. I thought okay, I can replace a screw if it becomes a problem. Went ahead an charged the battery once for a test in the yard. Warning sign #2 After the first use, the plastic handle came flying apart from the metal shaft. Luckily it was not running at the time but I had just switched it off. I thought maybe they were not attached firmly enough, so I reattached the two pieces and decided to try one more time. Left the small battery recharging. Over 24 hours later, still no charge. Just blinking green the whole time. Reached out to Worx support and discovered the battery was defective. Because it was within the 30 day guarantee, I could return it to the place of purchase. Otherwise a replacement battery costs $90 - the same cost as replacing the entire unit.

Great little trimmer

Great little trimmer, easy to assemble out of the box, line and battery included. Did my whole property perimeter and tree bases and the battery only went down one indicator light. Never once did I need to mess with the line. Very pleased after the first use

I bought this trimmer last year. When I came to use it this year the battery does not charge. It shows a green light when attached to the charger but battery does not work when attached to the trimmer.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: No. Only comes with one which is already inside the weed wacker. In previous years, they use to give you extras, but not anymore. They charge 8.62 for shipping one package of 6 spools regardless of what you order. Its always an extra charge which is outrageous.

A: I trim around several trees, flower beds and do some edging. i have a 150X 30' lawn. Battery has run out only when i kept doing more edging to deliberately drain it. if it does not do the job for you, just take it back for refund.
