Cuts well beyond its apparent capability

I have bought 2 and both perform so well that I rarely unpack the gas chainsaw. I recently cut down two dead poplars, each about 25 cm girth in a few minutes. Then I chopped them to smaller segments to move them, also in a few minutes. I was surprised at how long the battery charge lasted. Even though the blade is not very long, by walking it around the trunk it slices through it fine. I do make sure I add lube often to make sure the blade doe snot bind. It is also not too heavy so I can use it for extended periods ( I am old) without my arm resenting it. I do not find it vibrated very much at all.

Didn't even get a full charge out of it until the motor turned to fireworks, lost the receipt so they could only exchange for another one. So now I'm stuck with a new saw that I'm waiting for it to break again. It works good, but doesn't last.

  • A: Yes, but only thru Yardworks at a cost of $49.48 taxes and shipping included. ( as of SEPT 2025) Canadian tire does not carry this part, unfortunately. No luck finding it elsewhere.
