Q: I use this product for my plants, I used a glass bowl to catch water, now I don't have plant, can I use the glass bowl for food. how do I clean it properly for household use, thank you
6 years ago- A: If there's crusty mineral build-up inside the bowl, pour a mixture of half hot water and half ordinary white vinegar into the bowl and let it soak for 30 minutes. Then dump out the water/vinegar mixture and wash the bowl in hot water using your regular dish soap. You may need to use a plastic mesh scouring pad to get rid of any mineral build-up that the water/vinegar mixture didn't dissolve (do NOT use a metal scouring pad, it'll scratch the bowl), and rinse the bowl well when finished. It is now ready to be used for food (there's no need to buy any special products to clean the bowl).3 years agoHelpful?
