The UltraCool ProTorch swivel torch kit makes repairs and soldering jobs a breeze. It includes an adjustable flame for focused heat on small fittings and broad coverage on larger surfaces. The multi-directional swivel tube allows you to reach tight spaces and odd angles with ease, making light brazing, soldering and heat treating jobs a cinch. The kit includes a MAPP-PRO cylinder and swivel torch for use with either propane or MAPP-PRO fuel, sold separately.

Extremely disappointing experience – Terrible quality control!

This was a nightmare from the start. The first unit I bought wouldn't ignite at all and I had to use a lighter to get it started. Since I still needed one, I exchanged it, assuming the first was just a fluke. I was wrong. The replacement had the exact same issue!Your quality control is non-existent. To make matters worse, when I tried to return it, the front desk staff actually had the nerve to claim I was "using it incorrectly." Absolutely unacceptable.

I purchased this on Monday and returned it on Tuesday. The igniter worked once and never again. When I returned it, the customer support rep indicated this was not the first time she had seen returns for this item.

Didn't Burn the House Down This Time!

I have had some bad experiences with torches that I won't get into here, but this torch from Protorch worked really well. I wanted to burn a frame I made for a painting I painted and it came out really nice! The litmus test was what my wife said, and if it deserved a spot on a wall in our bedroom and yes, it did! Easy to light, stayed lit, and worked well. Also kept my hands warm through the cold winter weather I worked outside in. Thanks Protorch!

Q: Package contains a yellow bottle which suggests it's Mapp Pro, however the package also states it burns at 3600 degrees which is what Propane burns at. Mapp pro burns at 3730 degrees. Is this just a yellow propane bottle? or is the temperature wrong?

A: It is a MAPP substitute torch said to use only with MAPP or MAPP equivalent
