No longer will you have to worry about hoses, compressors, gas cartridges or have to wait for your tool to ramp up. Equipped with Metabo HPT's unique low maintenance air spring drive system, this cordless nailer delivers more than enough power to flush drive up to a 3-1/2" x 0.131" clipped or offset round head nail into the toughest materials, with the same feeling as a pneumatic nailer. Metabo HPT's air spring drive system uses sealed, compressed air to drive each nail which means zero ramp up time and driving speeds of up to 2 nails per second. Powered by Metabo HPT's lightweight 18V 4.0Ah battery with fuel gauge, this nailer is a sure thing to get the job done efficiently, completely and comfortably.

Coming from Dewalt cordless nailers, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and capability of this framer. First, nail placement is consistent, much like a pneumatic tool would be. Second, the tool is ergonomic and well thought out. After having used this tool for several weeks, my only qualm would be the size of the nail magazine, but an extended one is available for purchase. If you were on the fence about it, this nailer is well worth the price and is a viable replacement for any size job.

Best cordless framer period, until the upcomin gen

Best cordless framer on the market, just waiting on availability of the new reduction valve so they can be field recharged like the 1st gen. Of course I just saw a preview of the next gen, which seem like a complete overhaul and huge leap forward to make all these almost obsolete… guess I’ll end up with all three generations
