Je suis heureux de mon achat. À date, il fonctionne bien. J’aime particulièrement ses indications visuelles (du type radar) et voyants rouge qui nous indiquent l’approche et la localisation d’un montant ainsi que le trou central où l’on peut insérer un crayon pour marquer le centre de l’objet.

about a year i have used it maybe 10 times.. did its job the hole is a clear indication of designers making a prank to worker's pensile :)

Miss wood studs

It failed detecting studs rather metals like drywall screws, it is better to be able disabling metal sensors so could detect wood stud.

While the metal sensor cannot be disabled, we recommend scanning in stud mode and making multiple passes to better distinguish between metal fasteners and the wood framing. was constantly reading metal but could never find a stud. even passing over walls where I already knew there was a stud it wouldn't work properly. save your money and buy a zircon or a magnetic stud finder.

Move the device slowly back in forth from left to right 3-4 times for calibration, then proceed with the measurement. The tool has to become acquainted with the surface it is scanning.
