    Lost my provided wrench so I picked this up. Thought it looked weak but it did the job and didn't hurt the wallet either!

    Doesn't work

    Bought this because I lost the original one. The adjuster is either too short or too long to fit into the holes. Tried on both a 4" grinder and a 6" grinder. The only way I could get a grinding disc off was to put put it in one of the holes then on the outside of the lock nut and pray it doesn't slip.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    Q: What size is the hex end of this wrench? Looking for a thin 7/8 . Is that the size?

    • A: This is a universal wrench that has the two pins that fit in the holes in the retaining nut. the distance between the pins is adjustable so that it will fit any sized retaining nut. Not a slim wrench like for a table saw
