The Mastercraft 5” (125 mm) Hook & Loop Discs for Sanding 5-Pack, 60 Grit, is intended for deburring or removal of heavy surface coatings such as rust. The discs in this kit will fit onto most standard disc sanders with an 8-hole design, including those from brands aside from Mastercraft. The Mastercraft sanding discs in this set are constructed from durable synthetic material with self-renewing properties that allow their surfaces to break down under the heat and pressure of continuous sanding to create new sharp edges, extending the overall life of the sandpaper. The sanding discs included with this set feature an extra-coarse (60 grit) abrasive, allowing you easily complete a wide array of sanding, polishing, and other similar applications. This impressive collection of sanding sheets features grits made from aluminum oxide, which makes them ideal for general-purpose sanding or final removal of stock, surface coatings, and rust.
