(3.2mm) diameter and is designed to cut ceramic wall tile (no floor tile), cement board & plaster. Can be used with the 566 Tile Cutting attachment.

Not for porcelain

I cant give this a fair rating as it was not the tool for the job I was trying to do which was to make a hole in a porcelain tile Definitely didn't work as a plunge bit and did not work well cutting porcelain It must have some uses but cutting porcelain is not one of them.

Got the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a small kitchen project: removing part of the backsplash tile to fit a new over-the-range microwave flush against the wall. It took around 3 hours, but it worked well for the task, even though it's more suited for smaller projects.

Gets job done

Expensive but gets the job done. You have to use this bit at high speed. A drill will not be fast enough to cut continously horizontal or vertical. My rotory tool worked well.
