Makes a mess of plexiglass.

I had to cut a hole in a plexiglass window (to install a cat-door) so I bought these. In the attached photo, you can see what a mess they made of the plexiglass. The cut across the top was made using these blades. The cuts down the sides were made using a blade made for cutting metal. These blades are useless for cutting plexiglass.

No, I do not recommend this product.

These blades are designed specifically for clean, precise cuts in acrylic materials, but performance can vary depending on factors such as cutting speed, feed pressure, and material thickness. For the best results in plexiglass, we recommend using a lower jigsaw speed and applying steady, controlled pressure to help reduce heat buildup, which can cause chipping or melting. Supporting the material firmly during the cut can also improve edge quality.
