Great scent and cleaning power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I really like this large concentrated jug of Simple Green cleaner. It came with a spray bottle with instructions for mixing the right ratio for cleaning and disinfecting. This has great cleaning power and has a wonderful deodorizing scent. I use this around the house for a degreaser and light cleaning as well as in a bucket with water for mopping. I like that this is safe to use around the house and this is really a great value.

If u don’t use it.. you should start

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me just say first that these pictures do not do this product justice at all. This stuff is amazing. No strong odors just a nice clean fresh scent and the floor and tiles on the bar area had a dull look to it as u can see by the tiles u ca now see a reflection in the tiles. I will be using this product on anything that it says it is made for and once gone I would absolutely buy this stuff on my own again.. so worth the money and it comes in a pretty big jug and u only need a couple ounces for every gallon of water.

Q: Will this product be able to get the smell out of brand new 3/4inch rubber gym mats. Very high smell of the petroleum in rubber. I need to put the mats in my basement for now the smell is so strong I can smell them even if shut in my garage

A: Thanks for your inquiry, Buff. You should not use the Pro 3 for this purpose. You can use Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner (053-0148-4). Clean the mats on both sides with a very very good rinse. Product should not be allowed to dry – as you don’t want a possible reaction creating a tacky surface. Mats should be completely dried before installing. Doing this outside if possible would be best, or in a well ventilated area to let the scent air out. This will not 100% get rid of the smell, but it will help to minimize it. Cleaning can occur periodically (again with a good rinse) to mask the smell until it finally dissipates. Happy Cleaning!

Q: I recently bought 3/4inch rubber mats for my gym at home. The rubber has a very high rubber petroleum smell. Could this stuff get that smell to go away. As of now they’re in my garage the smell is too strong.

Q: It's listed safe for vinyl. I need to disinfect Polyurethane Upholstery. Is it safe to use without damaging the PU?

A: For all Simple Green disinfectant products (and really, for all disinfectant products in general,) it is best to be conservative when the disposal of the used disinfectant will enter a septic system. You should take care not to overwhelm the system by putting too much into the drain over the course of a single 8-hour period. “Normal” usage, would have someone mopping or spraying the 1:64 pre-diluted solution onto hard, non-porous surfaces, and waiting 10 minutes before rinsing off. For normal applications on hard, non-porous surfaces, the disposal of the used solution should not overwhelm a septic system. If ever in doubt, a good rule is that no more than 2 gallons of 1:64 diluted solution should be fed into a septic system during any 8-hour period. It is even helpful to dilute the 2 gallons up to 4 gallons with water before disposal.

If a product has not been evaluated by Health Canada as effective for a particular application, we may not recommend it for such use. There is not testing or language for use of this product as a spray air treatment.
