Elegant, modern timer works well. May be difficult to fit timer & 4 wire nuts inside electrical box

Leviton LTBB30-742 30-min timer is a perfect timer for the fan in our small room, as 15min seems the best setting. It is elegant, modern & it runs very well. There are 2 regrets, however. 1) The faceplate is plastic. I would have preferrred a metal faceplate, which is sturdier. 2) The timer has 4 of its own wires, and uses wire nuts (supplied) to connect to the existing house wires (+ve supply black, +ve black to feed fan, return white and yellow/green ground wires). It was quite difficult to cram everything (timer + 4 wire nuts) into the existing electrical box. I wish Levinton had used attachment posts with screws so that 3 house wires can be directly connected to these posts without using wire nuts. Using fewer wire nuts saves space in the electrical box. A different timer we use for a larger bathroom has 3 attachment posts with screws designed for that purpose. Please refer to attached diagrams showing Leviton timer's connection with wire nuts, and another timer design with attachment post & screw.
