It's highly recommended for recessed lighting and similar fixtures as accent lighting or as a replacement for an existing bulb. These incandescent bulbs are also dimmable, so you're able to adjust the brightness level to accommodate your lighting needs. Each bulb lasts for 2,000 hours for fewer bulb replacements over time.
