I bought this to replace a damaged one on a household item . . . Although it look alright and did work after managing to get it attached, the system for connecting the old cord to the newly purchased plug end is poorly designed . . . Not a good solid connection

Worked great to replace block heater plug end which was pulled off by forgetting to unplug the extension cord before driving away. The price is ridiculously high for such a simple component. Lends credence to the rumours that manufacturers don’t want us to repair anything
