It rarely work excellent. It easy to fill a big hole on car body or any material. Bondo have two type material which help to strong grip on closed holes or cracks.

Good product, but cured too fast.

Bought this to repair a rusting fender. Metal lath patch didn't stick very well, but stayed put long enough to get the fiberglass on. Biggest complaint was the original formula Bondo: it only had a working time of about four or five minutes before it hardened enough that it couldn't be applied anymore, so more than half of it ended up wasted, leaving an insufficient amount to finish the job. Lesson learned: if you buy this product, be prepared to work fast, and don't count on being able to use it on multiple small spots; it may start to cure before you get to them.
