Steady, multi use appliance

Replacing a 15 year old previous Breville. This one seems to be built equally well..looking forward to many years of use. Control’s are logical. Heats up quickly and is a good capacity for most trays for cooking medium size chicken or flat pasta dishes. Toasting is even for multiple slices..

Fan died after 13 months.

Fan died after 13 months (just past warranty of course). Breville support has been non-responsive. Stay away. My guess is they added the air-fryer/super-convection functions to the basic Smart Oven without beefing up the fan bearing. Thus the super-high failure rate after 1-2 years. Far too expensive a unit for only 1 year of service.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It has been fun to learn the functions of my new Breville oven. It has done everything I asked of it. The learning curve includes knowing how to convert the old, traditional recipes to the convection process. My one disappointment is that the enamel roasting pan can be difficult to clean. Pre-soaking helps but complete removal of fine spray grease required Soft Scrub.

A: Internal Capacity: 34 Width × 30-33 Depth × 12 Height (cm) Note that the depth in the middle of the back oven is protruding out, so it can fit the included 13" (33 cm) pizza pan.
