Hate this model

I hate this machine. It smears spills on the floor as the brush barely touches the surface and I have flat floors. There is no trigger to add cleaning fluid onto the roller and there is only one style of cleaning brush. It does a poor job of cleaning compared to the older model I have and loved. I throw out the packaging as I did not expect to hate it this much so I cant return it. Hate it machine

Q: Can this be used on laminate click flooring?

Q: Just to confirm, can you use it to clean an area rug with water or only dry?

  • A: Yes, it is not a steam cleaner (no heat), but it will clean a rug with water, or you can use it as a vacuum. FYI, the canister is very small, and it does not have very good suction for picking up pet hair, etc. Although I do like this machine, I ended up buying a regular vacuum due to constantly having to clean out the canister, and it not picking up basic pet hair (okay, maybe heavy pet hair, my ginger cat sheds a lot).
