Bought this to replace an old Bissell spot cleaner I had that finally fell apart as we just got a new puppy. Works excellent for her little accidents. Only issue I have is with the design of the trigger, same as my older one. It is just in the most inconvenient place when storing the hose or trying to take the nozzle cover off to clean. You always end up spraying it by accident.

Q: If I use it on an area rug will it damage the hardwood below? I do not want it to get/stay wet.

A: Hi Frankie. You shouldn't use a deep cleaner on your furniture if it's not advised by the manufacturer. If it's safe to clean your sofa with water, it could be used with water only.
