Buy it for the clean, not the bells and whistles

Pro - great cleaner. I have a high child and two dogs, so my carpets take a lot of abuse. This is my second Hoover, and I won’t go back to any other brand again. These types of brushes provide a much better clean than the traditional roll-based system. That said, I took off two stars because there is no difference whatsoever between the “wash” and “rinse” functions. I thought I was just getting water into an area that had a lot of old soap build up, but I wasn’t. It was also pulling solution, even in the rinse setting. I’m disappointed because that seemed like a cool feature, but ultimately, it doesn’t affect the effectiveness of the clean, which I care about the most.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Manufacture assembled machine incorrectly

I bought this machine last year however only opened it up today. This very important part was not attached to the machine!! I didn’t realize what it was until a tried to put the clean water tank on and all the water started leaking out. After many attempts to figure out what was happening it seems like this machine was made wrong and this piece wasn’t installed at all, just put in the box. Very frustrating!! I’m not sure what to do now.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It leaks. Don't buy!

Leaks all over the floor when you use the attachment hose after only a few uses. There are a few videos on youtube showing you how the pump design is garbage and people try to by pass it or weld it. I just can't believe how they are still selling the same trash design after years of people complaining.

Easy to use

I haven't had time to do a whole room yet the area I did use it was so much brighter. I have 2 large dogs and keeping my carpets clean is impossible so owning compared to renting will make the job so much easier. The machine itself is easy to use, the carpet was dry in about 12 hours.

Q: can you use on uncarpeted floor

A: I googled the answer and it said not generally recommended on Hardwood Floors. It dispenses too much water. We use the Swiffer Hardwood Floors System on the Hardwood… Hoover on the carpet and furniture. Hope that helps. And we use the spinning mop on the kitchen floor.
