Poorly made with serious longevity & leaking issue

I have owned this machine for just over three years. From the beginning, the attachment tools never worked properly, but I loved how well the machine itself cleaned, so I initially overlooked those issues.
The carpet cleaning performance is excellent and the drying time is great. However, the machine has always leaked slightly, and over time that problem has gotten significantly worse. It now leaks heavily when tilted, dumping all of the solution. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this is a very common issue.
Unfortunately, this problem has completely changed my opinion of the product. Replacement parts are extremely difficult to find, and the correct replacement tank for my exact model is not available. The only tanks I can locate are labeled “NC,” which are not compatible with my machine.
Because of the leaking issue and the lack of accessible replacement parts, I will not be purchasing another Hoover carpet cleaner.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Worked great the first time

I only used this Hoover carpet cleaner once. I had to install the handle which took a couple of screws to secure it. It is similar to my older model. However, this one has 2 compartments for the clean water. One side has the water with soap, and the other side has the rinse water. Overall it works well, but this one as with any other hoover cleaner I have used, seems to leave the carpet more wet than I desire. I need to use box fans to blow air over the carpet areas that I cleaned.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great for stain removal

This unit worked very well at removing the ground in dirt in the basement. It extracted enough of the water that the carpet dried very quickly. We are quite pleased with this unit.
