A: Yes. Mist condensation. Not a big issue. Handle the unit accordingly when refilling the tank. Towel is always handy.

Q: Hi there, I was thinking of getting this but saw some varying responses so I wanted to ask again. How regularly should I replace the demineralization cartridge if I plan to use it overnight around 5 times a week?

A: Hello. Our air looked cloudy & we got a deposit on windows & furniture. It sure looked awful. It was hard to clean. Settled on glass & left a deposit. It quit working after about a month. As it just stopped, no reset button. So we took it back to CT all they would do was give us another, and we a got a follow up guarantee. It was very unsatisfactory to say the least. I would like a return with money we paid for same. USED tap water that was not softened.

Q: I am using this filter from last one year, its working good. But do i need to replace any filter or any other part for maintainance?

A: This unit does not use a filter as it is an Ultrasonic unit. They should change the demineralization cartridge at least once per season.

A: Yes, the AURORA shuts off when it runs out of water, and the small light on the front of the unit switches from green to red as a reminder to refill the unit. The red light stays illuminated until the unit is refilled.
