    The guarantee is great- 5 years exchange at CT. But they need it. I have returned two of them already because they rattle. I hope the 3rd and last one is quieter. Some reviews do like it, so....

    I bought this trying to bring general humidity of a room up from 30% to 50%. Size of the room is the maximum coverage this is rated for, but I have yet been able to get the humidity above 36% even running on continuous mode for days on end. It does drink the water though so that's a good sign. After the first week the fan started making noise. I took it apart and adjusted the fan depth so it wasn't hitting the casing any more. Not really super serviceable by the homeowner but with a little brain power I got it working. I tried to buy what seemed to be the highest quality humidifier at CT but it still feels like a modern day cheaply made electronic device that's not really designed to last more than a few weeks.

    Q: The last time I bought a humidifier from CT, I can no longer get wicking filters.. So - how many years will I be able to get filters for this one? My other WeMo works perfectly. But no filters to be found. Except from Chine for 3X costs.
