Problème d'étanchéité de la cafetière.

Cette cafetière a bien fonctionné pendant 2 ans, Elle est d'ailleurs garantie pour 2 ans. Un mois après la fin de la garantie, quelques gouttes apparaissent sur le comptoir. Petit à petit les gouttes ont augmenté. 2 mois après, on s'aperçoit qu'il y a beaucoup d'eau sur le comptoir. Je mets la cafetière de côté. Je la reprends le mois suivant, et là, le comptoir est inondé. Je téléphone au bureau de la compagnie. On me dit que la garantie est terminée. Pas de remplacement. Et impossibilité de parler à une personne qui parle le français. La personne qui répond doit se faire accompagner par un traducteur. Selon la loi des consommateurs au Québec, un produit doit pouvoir fonctionner de façon normale et suffisante . Ce qui ne se limite pas au terme de la garantie légale. Ce qui est la cas ici. Voilà la raison de mon insatisfaction.

Q: Is the brewed coffee nice HOT? Some coffee makers don't heat the water quite hot enough.

A: We found the coffee to be warm-hot, and sitting on the burner does not heat it up more. We have to use the microwave. Very disappointed. I think that the cyclone action cools the water a little. Was worse when we were using the "strong" button. I think that then it just takes longer to add the water, then it cools down even more. Sad as we like the design.

Q: How do you keep the hot plate on for longer than 120 minutes without starting another brew cycle?

A: I just restart the brew system. In a minute or so the timer restarts as there is no water in the brewer it might give a puff and resets

A: As far as I know, it counts down 90 minutes, and only displays the 90 minute warming count down, the only way to cancel it is to shut off the machine to display the clock

Q: What type of paper filter does it use? Sometimes I prefer a disposable filter.

A: I use a basket filter (10 - 12 cup size). I tried the reusable filter that comes with the coffee maker, but I don't like the sediment. One thing I love about this product is the STRONG feature. I usually only make a 1/2 pot of coffee at a time. The STRONG button makes sure it's not too weak. I take it off for a full pot.
