Insuffcient Toasting

nice desing but anemic toasting abiity. Using gluten free bread, highest level didn't even tan the bread. I will be returning this unit. I do agree with some of the other comments: timer useful, toasts evenly.

Bread warmer

It doesn't even deserve 1 star. This is not a toaster, it's a bread warmer. Even at the highest setting, it barely toasts the bread. You also have to pick the setting every time you use it. It doesn't remember the last setting you used.

I belive not everything is made to be digital

This toaster only have few settings that convert a number to a time. Passing from 5 to 6 have a big gap so you can't fine tune your preference. I can only think about the time when the electronic board will broke and be unrepairable. I've changed my older one because element where getting old and not toasting consistently. But mechanism was simple. Heat build up, mechanical thermostat adjusted by a knob release the bread when temperature is reached. I've could repair that kind ok thing... much more complicated when it's an electronic board companies don't give you schemes.
