Lightweight compared to our older griddle. And 350F seems to be quite a bit hotter than our old griddle. Not sure which one is accurate, but beware when you cook that first batch of pancakes!

Bought this last week for $49. Like most Black and Decker stuff, this griddle is as cheaply made as possible to the point it feels like it might just fall apart in my hands. I don't expect the appliance's construction to hold up, let alone the non-stick properties of this griddle, but it will do for now.

Q: Does gruddle need to be oiled when making pancakes? I've learned from experience once you add oil to nonstick it becomes sticky and impossible to clean off.

A: I use only butter , and it’s really easy to clean it, nothing sticks on it …. You have to wait your unity to cool down before you clean it with dishes soap, unless you will damage it!
