Best Garbage Can Ever!

It is extremely windy here in my part of town and the lid of my garbage bucket was always blowing away. This happened multiple times with multiple buckets. So, I decided to look for one with a secure lid. This Rubbermaid Garbage Can is fantastic! It is very durable and the price was incredibly cheap but the most important and best quality of this bucket is the lid! It doesn't blow off in the wind but is easy to remove when needed. I would highly recommend this garbage bucket to anyone! It is the best one I have ever purchased and I've had to buy 3 before this one because of the wind. So Thank you Rubbermaid for making this product and Thank you Canadian Tire for stocking it. Also, I would like to congratulate you on your wonderful idea to now offer home delivery. Whoever's idea it was to impliment this in your store is a genious and deserves a big raise!

The garbage men, in a hurry, try to force the latches from the handles and recently broke two so I had to replace them. These are the best garbage cans for keeping rodents (and garbage men) out.

Q: Is it water/moisture proof? I need to store animal feed without the wrong type of animals getting into it. I'll be kept in a lean-to shack, but the type of feed I need to store absolutely can't get wet or really moist as it will grow mold. How dry do the contents inside stay?

Q: I have disabililties and I would like to know if it will be difficult for me to open. I live with fibromyalgia in a severe form and my hands are often weak and painful. How hard is it to open all the straps on this lids? Have you tested anyone with arthritis? Thanks

Q: What type of plastic is it made of? If it's polyethylene people can use them to make outdoor nutrient reservoirs. The locking lid would be great for that use case. The type of plastic matters though.
