The raccoons have been terrorizing my front porch for a number of years, and I specifically looked for a locking lid that could thwart those trash pandas. Unfortunately this orange locking lid was no match for the two fat little trash pandas, so I had to modify it a little with a step drill bit, and a short bungie cord. Now it keeps the little beggars out of my green bin. It is a good quality sturdy plastic, and several litres larger than the original one we got with the house. Handles feel good for lifting it. Not too heavy an item when empty. Wheels on the back work just fine.

Q: would your green rodent proof orbis bin hold half a bale of hay? Needing to store hay in a tightly sealed bin. So need to know how much hay it'll hold.

Q: What is the volume (in litres) of the green bin 042-3032-6? I've just bought this green bin and the recyclers say it's the wrong size. So, I need to know its actual volume. If the size is really off, would I be able to return it once I give it a good wash? We've only used it once. I have the receipt as well.
