I used this for rust stains from a roof rack that rusted on our white SUV and left huge rust marks along the roof. I had tried everything to remove them. After 2 years, I found this. Incredibly, it took 90% of the rust stains off with the first application. I did it a second time the next day and it removed everything. I was very pleasantly surprised. When I bought it, I was going that it could at least fade it so it wasn’t so obvious, but instead, it removed them within 5 minutes of spraying. Wish I’d found this 2 years ago. Amazing product.

We bought a 2022 White CX9 at the end of last year and I don't think it has seen many good washes in its life before us. There was lots of little rust specks in the paint and figured I'd give this a try before clay baring. Washed the entire car on a cool day (15 degrees), didn't dry it, then sprayed this on every white panel, let sit for 5min, used a wash mit to agitate, let sit for 5 more min then thoroughly washed off with a shampoo. The car looks flawless now. Used most of the bottle to do the car, but well worth the price. 10/10

Quick detail or spray waxes that have 3 month protection will be more affected than a long lasting wax or sealant having 6-12 months protection. Ideally, you would use this before polishing or waxing your car. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

A: Thanks for your inquiry, Lovejeet singh. The Simoniz Platinum Rust Particle Remover should not negatively affect a real ceramic coating. Ceramic coating has good resistance against strong chemicals, but as with all chemical cleaners, it's best practice to test in an inconspicuous spot first. Happy Cleaning!
