The Permatex® 59705 Ultra Copper Maximum Temperature Gasket Maker is formulated to handle the most demanding high temperature applications, from turbocharger systems to exhaust components. OEM authorized and recommended, it offers greater oil resistance and flexibility compared to conventional silicone sealants, maintaining a tight seal even at temperatures up to 371 degrees Celsius. The non-drip formula is easy to apply and smooths on quickly, curing into a tough, long-lasting seal that can withstand the oil, heat and vibration of harsh automotive environments.

    Bought this on a Saturday, needed to seal something, got back home, it the tip off, nothing came out, cut further and stabbed the product, nothing came out, took a drill bill and when down about 1 inch deep in the tube, tried again, still nothing came out, sunk the drill bit 4 inches deep, still nothing came out. Got some product somewhere close to how my o homage to make the trip again. In a Tuesday, went to take it back, they said no, because “it was on clearance”, no refund, no exchange, I argued and they offered an exchange, to which I said I don’t need the product now the job is done. Resulted in nothing. IF YOU’RE GONNA DISCOUNT SOMETHING, MAYBE MAKE SURE THE PRODUCT IS USABLE FOR ITS INTENDED PURPOSE. Not pleased with this product or the customer service that followed.

    Itmust have been old stock because the tube of silicone was hardened all through out the tube making it un useable.

    30 minute drive each way to the store, get the vehicle apart and discover the product is so old and dried out I couldn't use it .Another hour travel time to return it and then go buy at an auto parts store. Lesson learned.
