STP from the old days

a month ago

Needed it for my older model car and it does just like it used to in the old days, might as well keep adding it with every oil change from now on. Now there is less oil burning, better fuel economy and a bit of peace of mind. Dad swore by the stuff and I guess I will start to.

Q: is this safe to use with synthetic engine oil?

2 Answers

A: The bottle says it is safe to use with synthetic oil. There is another classification now on some synthetic oil called “Dexos” rated. Some manufacturers state in their operator manuals to not add anything to these oils. Also some of those oil manufacturers have clauses on their oil containers to not add anything to them as well.
