The Directed AutoStart DS3 Series 1-way Remote Car Starter System Kit sends signals to your vehicle to initiate the engine. Ideal for those who park within clear sight of their home or office, this system has a range of 792 m. This kit is compatible with vehicle-specific T-harnesses for easier installation. The T-Harness utilizes OEM connectors, simplifying vehicle wiring and reducing hardwired connections. This product offers a hassle-free way to start your car remotely.
Features a 1 way remote starter
1 way remote starter means that when you activate the remote starter, the signal will be sent to the vehicle to start the engine, however there will be no signal sent back to give confirmation that the vehicle has started
Recommended installation by a trained technician
T-Harness has OEM (factory) connectors which makes wiring into the vehicle easier and reduces the number of hardwired connections that have to be made on the vehicle

Q: How do you repair a remote that's forgotten your car? I have 2 fobs for this, but I've only been using 1 for the last 2.5 years. I tried the spare this week and it just blinks blue, but car isn't responding I changed the batteries and still nothing
a year agoA: Turn Ignition ON with the key. Press then release then press and hold the Antenna button until the LED starts to flash on the antenna. Release the button. This will keep the system in pairing mode for 30 seconds. On your remote simultaneously press and hold the unlock and ! (Exclamation) buttons until the remote’s LED start flashing. When it does release the buttons. The Remote’s LED will turn off. Then press the LOCK button for 3 sec. Turn Ignition OFF to exit pairing mode.

2 years agoA: I returned mine. As a class A mechanic, I highly recommend you go to your local Ford dealer and order one through them. It will be less intrusive on your vehicles wiring, and more compatible with the on board systems on your Escape.
