Ineffective: Low Amps Output

Output 6 amps too low for any serious application. Purchased for use with Cdn Tire (CT) own house brand Motomaster Direct Drive Air Compressor model 009-5018-2, amps too low output to run compressor. No heavier duty option offered at CT. Also said CT compressor specifications do not list required minimum amps to function. Wasted $20 in gas and an hour of my time buying & returning this $40 lightweight dud.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Right on the box (and on it's website) it says this unit is rated for car inflaters. It is not. It may be an ok item otherwise but I bought it for one reason and it did not work. Returned it to the store.

Q: I just purchased a12 volt tire inflator #009-5210-2 from Canadian Tire, and was wondering if this Bluehive converter is what I would need to use a standard 120volt ac outlet instead of the cigarette lighter in my car when using the tire inflator.
