Q: If there is a power outage for a minute, and then power comes back on, will the charger pick up automatically where it left off (charging batteries), or do you have to select a charging option again (manually push buttons and restart charging process)?
3 years agoA: Hello there, I got these model charger nearly a year now, I haven't had a power outage, but I have had switching the power off and on, the charger just back on the last stage where it was, fully auto. Hope these will help, la.

Q: will this charger do a desulphator procedure?
4 years agoA: Hi there, this charger performs desulphation automatically if the built-in microprocessor detects it. However, if you are looking for products with a dedicated Reconditioning mode, please check out other battery chargers in our assortment, such as MotoMaster Eliminator Precision Series 7/1A (model 011-1969).

Q: If 25 amp manual setting is used, will the charger continue charging at 25 amps when battery is fully charged causing an overcharge or will it drop to maintenance charge
4 years agoA: The 25A setting is also an automatic setting. When selected, the charger will begin charging at 25A (assuming the battery is discharged) however the charger will automatically reduce the current as the battery becomes more “full” and cannot accept such large current. Once fully charged, the charger will shut off and only turn back on if/when the battery self-discharges to a certain point, thus keeping it maintained.

Q: What voltage does it use when charging a 12v AGM battery? 14.8?
2 months agoA: This battery charger does not have a Battery Tupe selector. It charges all batteries at 14.4V.

Q: Can this charger handle a lithium battery?
3 years agoA: This charger is not compatible with a lithium battery. At this time, Canadian Tire only offers NOCO battery chargers that are compatible with lithium batteries. Please consider any of NOCO's products.
