It’s definitely a top off tire inflator. The battery drains very quickly and if you have to inflate more than 2-3 psi it is a problem.

The unit works very well, filling bike tires or topping off car tires. My only issue is wishing it had a quick connect valve. Have to add a bit more air as some is lost while unscrewing the hose.

Convenience vs battery life

I rated this a 3 because of the battery life. It is easy to use and I love not have a power cord attached to the car for it to operate. The down side is battery life is only about 10 to 15 minutes before it's completely drained and it takes hours to recharge. Couldn't get through both my cars weekly checks and top offs before running out of power. Should they put a better battery pack in this device it would be a five out of five.
