    Faulty TPMS Sensors and Unresolved Service Issues

    I had a very frustrating experience with the TPMS sensor and service at Canadian Tire. I originally had 4 sensors installed, but within 2 months I had to return to the shop 3 different times because one of the sensors kept failing to sync. On the 4th visit, I was told that one sensor was dead and they booked another appointment for replacement. However, on the appointment day, they suddenly claimed that all 4 sensors were dead and charged me $160 for replacements, saying I was outside the 100-day service period. What makes this unacceptable is that I had already brought the vehicle back 3 times within those 100 days for the exact same issue, which clearly shows the problem existed from the beginning. Even after replacing all 4 sensors, they still could not sync them properly and told me to go to the dealership. I ended up spending another $80 at the dealership just to get the sensors synced correctly. In the end, I spent more money fixing the issue than I originally spent on the sensors themselves. Very disappointing service and poor handling of an ongoing problem.

    Q: I had one tire get sidewall damage from my son hitting a curb. Tires were less than 18,000 kms on themso I was told I could just buy one tire of the sdame make and model for our 2019 AWD Buick Encore. Need 1 sensor, will it work with theother OEM sensors?
