Love this.

I love using this during holiday meals. It makes it so easy to use the broth from the turkey to make a gravy. It takes any pieces out of the broth as you pour it in. Then after a few minutes you can easily put the good broth into your pan and leave the fat out. Love this tool.

The product works as advertised. I like that I am able to filter out the ingredients I don’t want from the broth that I do. Cleaning is so easy. I love that it’s dishwasher safe and microwave safe

. . . but I marvel every time I uses this gravy separator (I don't like calling it a fat separator). It works beautifully and I am a kid in an adult's body enjoying the science of it. Love how large it is. Works well, cleans well, has a nice large handle, and the strainer top is great. I use onions in almost every gravy and the strainer top is quite useful. As I said in the title, I do not often write reviews, but I used my separator tonight and, well, wrote a review. Yes, this is a real review.

Q: Can it handle hot liquid from roasting a turkey. I saw on some different reviews the plastic cracks easily if hot liquid (grease) is poured in.
