Double-wall/insulated, wasted my money

Bought one a while ago, no complaints. Just bought a bunch more and found out they switched to insulated/double-wall design. Completely useless for me now, can't use them to boil water or anything else that you might want a metal bottle for in the outdoors. Waste of money because they couldn't bother to update the product details.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is this water bottle safe to put on a fire and boil water then drink ? Is the out bound 750 and 1000 safe to boil on a fire to purify dirty water then drink or dose it put metals into the water ?

A: Yes it is. You'll need to remove the portion that attaches the lid to the bottle of course.
